Marvel Legends Infinite Avengers 2 Iron Fist

Iron Fist aka Danny Rand was a character created in 1974 along with Power Man aka Luke Cage during the blaxploitation and kung fu movie boom. Though not A-lister superheroes, they're still pretty popular and appear frequently in numerous titles. I kinda have a soft spots for street level superheroes, which is why Iron Fist and Daredevil appeal to me, so once Marvel announced that they were making Netflix miniseries of several street level heroes, i was pretty ecstatic. And of course, to promote their show, Hasbro gave us updated Legends of these characters which i can't thank them enough. Anyway, here's Iron Fist!

Iron Fist here is based on the Big Time/Future Foundation Spider-Man mold few years back. Which is good, but kinda outdated compared to the newer molds like Superior Spidey. Still, he can still do plenty of kung fu poses you can think off.

Paintwork is a mixed bag. First off the subtle blue gradient is pretty good, it adds depth to the otherwise bland all white plastic. The messy part of the paint is everything else, the eyes are messily painted (had to do some minor painting on mine), some of the lines on his arms don't meet and the white paint on the gold plastic are not evenly applied.

But the best part of this figure?? LOOK AT  ALL THEM HANDS! What is this, a Figuarts? I love these and i hope Hasbro will swappable hands for future Legends as well. These extra hands are pretty sturdy, the pegs they're on are pretty thick and easy to swap. They give so much personality to Iron Fist!

Though i would have prefer him to be on the Superior Spider-man body mold, he's a pretty solid figure and thanks to all those extra hands, he's pretty fun to pose. Just be aware of the paint apps. Now i just need to find the Thunderbolts Luke Cage so i can have the dynamic duo on display.

Anyway, thanks for viewing!

  1. Oh wow, I didn't realize he came with all those extra hands. That is definitely a fun looking figure. I'd hate to have his laundry bill though.
