Marvel Legends Infinite Avengers 2 Machine Man

Since buying Iron Fist  the last time, i saw something that i've never thought Hasbro would release, a Machine Man Marvel Legends. Intrigued, i went back and snapped him up as well. So who's Machine Man? Machine Man/Aaron Stack/Z2P45-9-X-51 or X-51 for short is an android character created by Jack Kirby for 2001: A Space Odyssey and later debuted in his own series. Basically a robot who was raised as human, became a fugitive from the military, became a hero and finally joined the cosmic beings known as Celestials. That is until the Nextwave series bought him back as a egotistical douchebag, albeit a funny one. That's where most of my exposure to Machine Man came from so i was fully expecting Hasbro to give us his modern look but Hasbro is surprising sometimes.

Machine Man is based on the Bucky Captain America body mold that every mid sized Legends are using now. It's a good mold so not much issue there. Paint apps are minimal since they're using those shiny, swirly plastic i love. There's some silver highlights, tan for the face and red for the eyes, that's it. Headsculpt is pretty good too.

Like Iron Fist, he comes with an extra pair of hands, though not as impressive as Iron Fist's 3 pair. Also comes with a pair of extending arm attachment with bendy wires inside them. They're ok, though i would prefer those crazy swiss army knife attachements he sports in the modern comics.

Word of caution though, the pegs on the hands are way thinner than those on Iron Fist, so becareful when you're switching them.

He's a pretty medicore release. I'm thinking even if people are a fan of Machine Man, they would still prefer the modern Nextwave look over the classic one. But i do have a softspot for obscure characters so i'm not regretting my purchase.

Anyway, thanks for viewing!
