Transformers Combiner Wars Deluxe Class Dead End

Crap, I've fallen for Hasbro's evil plan. First it was just Offroad, now it's Dead End and I'm already contemplating buying the rest of the team because i've already 2 limbs... Anyway, Dead End may be the best looking deluxe in Combiner Wars. Dead End is an old time member of the Stunticons, a gloomy sort of guy with nihilistic look on life. So back to the toy!

Transformers Generations Deluxe Arcee

When she was announced, i was kinda surprised Hasbro took this long to release a G1 Arcee. But hey, why look gift horse in the mouth? I'm just glad i finally found one without paying scalper prices. So how does Arcee stacks up to the recent femmebots Hasbro released? Very very well actually.

Takara Transformers Animated Deluxe Rodimus Minor

I had reviewed animated Blackout previously, and i've expressed how i feel bout the series' design by Derrick Wyatt. So when i was browsing about, i found another gem in the animated line and i just couldn't resist myself. So here he is, animated Rodimus in all his shiny glory!

Transformers Generations Legends Class Suppressor and Cliffjumper

Like all Bumblebee molds, it was only a matter of time before the Thrilling 30 Legends Bumblebee was repainted into the ever loveable Cliffjumper. Cliffjumper is often depicted as the brash, brave and sometime paranoid Autobot and appeared in most transformers' media. Suppressor on the other hand, was a Decepticon Mini Con in the Universe series, so he's either a new character here or Cliffjumper is right for once that Suppressor is Decepticon spy, even the bio on the back seems to suggest that.

Cliffjumper here is basically just a Bumblebee repaint and Suppressor is a Roller repaint. If you have Bumblebee you know what to expect here, a tiny, compact car that's reminiscent of the  alt modes both Bumblebee and Cliffjumper had in the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron game series. It's pretty cute and the red just makes it pop. Suppressor is Roller with a yellow body instead of blue, it's a pretty nice alt mode and is packed with loads of details.

Even in the robot mode, Cliffjumper is still as cute as ever. With a rounded head and chest, he's like a cross between the game version and G1 version.

Suppressor's robot mode is pretty basic, not much to say here. It's just his altmode standing up.

Cliffjumper's horns are painted silver which does help differentiate him and Bumblebee.

He looks great holding the gun Suppressor came with

Articulation wise, like Bumblebee, he has ball joint and swivel shoulders, ball joints on the arms and hips, and also knee and ankle swivels. But because of the tabs behind his knees, the knees don't have much range. I trimmed mine off and it doesn't effect the transformations much.

Suppressor's third mode, a big double barrel gun, is way too heavy for Cliffjumper to hold right.

And Suppressor's able to combine with his gun.

He's just a repaint of Bumblebee so he's nothing outstanding. But i really love the red he's molded in and he's pretty decent. Get him if you like the character or if you like the Bumblebee mold.

Hasbro Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Deluxe Vehicon

Transformers Prime was the most recent series that picked up from the game Fall of Cybertron left off. A pretty solid series, Transformers Prime was darker, more serious and pretty well animated than it's the previous series, Transformers Animated. It ran for 3 seasons, which was pretty long so Hasbro made 3 toy lines for it, First Edition, Robots in Disguise and Beast Hunters. So today i'm here to talk bout the unsung heroes of the Decepticon army, the Vehicons.

The Vehicons are the cannon fodder and abuse material for the Decepticons. Highly expendable and numerous, they were the perfect material to show how badass the Autobots were. This particular Vehicon is from the second line, Robots in Disguise. Based off the appearance from the series, it transforms into this sleek, futuristic car resembling a Cadillac Ciel that looks so beautiful with sharp angles and smooth lines. Certainly one of the best deluxe car modes.

The robot mode ain't too shabby either. It features a head with visor, high shoulders and no kibbles! NO KIBBLES! Because of how it transforms, the entire car hood is split and folded up the legs. This is genius.

It only comes with a gun that can be held or clip onto the arm. This makes it looks like the arm cannon accurate to the series.

Articulation is pretty good with most in the skinny arms, which allows it so much emotive gestures.

Some of you might have noticed though, that the Vehicon in my pics have it's car wheels lower than it should be. That's because i modded mine following some simple instructions online. This gives it a more accurate look and allow the overall silhouette to look better. Here is the modded one compare to an unmodded Vehicon.

One of the best looking deluxe, this little guy is well sought after by army builders. I was lucky to come into 2, so if you come across them for a good price, don't hesitate!
