Transformer The Last Knight Scorn Voyager

It's been a good long while since i've last bought an official transformer. It's not because the new toys are bad, i've just been too busy with life and budget's been tight.
But now that i've finally settled in the new place, i can start building my collection again. And what better way to start with the new voyager from the latest movie, Scorn from The Last Knight!

Transformers Combiner Wars Legends Class Powerglide

So Combiner Wars gave us 4 new legends class, 2 unique and 2 repaints. Since Windcharger is just a retool of Tailgate, Thundercracker is a repaint of Acid Storm  and i've covered Bombshell already, it's Powerglide next!

Transformers Generations Deluxe Arcee

When she was announced, i was kinda surprised Hasbro took this long to release a G1 Arcee. But hey, why look gift horse in the mouth? I'm just glad i finally found one without paying scalper prices. So how does Arcee stacks up to the recent femmebots Hasbro released? Very very well actually.

Transformers Generations Legends Class Suppressor and Cliffjumper

Like all Bumblebee molds, it was only a matter of time before the Thrilling 30 Legends Bumblebee was repainted into the ever loveable Cliffjumper. Cliffjumper is often depicted as the brash, brave and sometime paranoid Autobot and appeared in most transformers' media. Suppressor on the other hand, was a Decepticon Mini Con in the Universe series, so he's either a new character here or Cliffjumper is right for once that Suppressor is Decepticon spy, even the bio on the back seems to suggest that.

Cliffjumper here is basically just a Bumblebee repaint and Suppressor is a Roller repaint. If you have Bumblebee you know what to expect here, a tiny, compact car that's reminiscent of the  alt modes both Bumblebee and Cliffjumper had in the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron game series. It's pretty cute and the red just makes it pop. Suppressor is Roller with a yellow body instead of blue, it's a pretty nice alt mode and is packed with loads of details.

Even in the robot mode, Cliffjumper is still as cute as ever. With a rounded head and chest, he's like a cross between the game version and G1 version.

Suppressor's robot mode is pretty basic, not much to say here. It's just his altmode standing up.

Cliffjumper's horns are painted silver which does help differentiate him and Bumblebee.

He looks great holding the gun Suppressor came with

Articulation wise, like Bumblebee, he has ball joint and swivel shoulders, ball joints on the arms and hips, and also knee and ankle swivels. But because of the tabs behind his knees, the knees don't have much range. I trimmed mine off and it doesn't effect the transformations much.

Suppressor's third mode, a big double barrel gun, is way too heavy for Cliffjumper to hold right.

And Suppressor's able to combine with his gun.

He's just a repaint of Bumblebee so he's nothing outstanding. But i really love the red he's molded in and he's pretty decent. Get him if you like the character or if you like the Bumblebee mold.

Transformers Generations 30th Anniversary Voyager Autobot Roadbuster

Like Whirl, Roadbuster was another mech from the Armored Trooper Dorvack called Mugen Callibur. And like Whirl, he was bought to the Transformers' franchise and renamed Roadbuster. He was basically the gun nut of the Wreckers group, but besides that i know next to nothing bout him.

He looks like he could run over a brick wall! Looking like an armored truck, he features alot of peg holes for his various weapons and plenty of paint apps.

Hasbro even bothered to paint wheels' rims which is a nice touch. Love the bright orange!

Look at this handsome bot! Sharp angles, symmetrical squares and big broad chest, he looks like a brusier! Hasbro also decided to give him ratcheting joints everywhere, which is weird, but i don't really mind since they're way way better than Prime Shockwave's. Articulations he has plenty but because of his armored thighs, he has a limited range to his hips. Otherwise, it's great.

And the weapons! So much weapons! He's probably toe to toe with movie Hound as the most armed Transformer, and unlike Whirl's accessories, they actually look like they belong on Roadbuster instead of indistinguishable guns.

A rocket launcher, rifle, scope, pistol, and 2 unique shoulder cannons, all of them features peg holes to combine on whatever mode you want.

He's a good size too, looks great paired with his wrecker buddy Whirl and Springer.

He has ZERO kibbles!

He's pretty great, a solid addition to the new generations line definitely worth the purchase. He's probably the more sought after in his wave, so grab him if you do see him. You won't regret it... probably.

Before i forget, you might wanna be careful with his shoulders when transforming him. His shoulders are connected with a tiny metal pin on the wall of his shoulders. It's already showing stress marks on mine after transforming twice, so be careful with that.

EDIT: Just found out you could make a sniper rifle out of all the guns, AWESOME!

Transformers Generations Legends Class Groundbuster and Autobot Tailgate

After the fantastic Cosmos and the cool Skrapnel, how does this little fan favourite Autobot stack up? ...Meh. Tailgate here is based on his IDW comic appearance, unfortunately though, I don't really read much of the IDW comics. From what i can gather, Tailgate was an older generation waste disposal cybertronian worker that was stranded. Hot Rod's crew finally found him and he decided to lie about pretty much who he was. He bonded with Cyclonus which was pretty cute and pathetic at same time.

Anyway, Tailgate turns into a muscle car which looks pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of Kitt from Knightrider.

His little pal is Groundbuster which turns into a bomb disposal loader, which looks servicable i guess. Not much to say bout him.

Robot wise, Tailgate is kinda disappointing.  There's no critical flaw with it, but it's the little things that bring him down. His car roof turns into his entire back and looks bad, it would have been better if it folds up at the bottom. His elbows are difficult to maneuver because the elbow edges constantly rub against each other. His shoulders look awkward just floating there.

Articulation wise, he's pretty basic. He does have minimal head swivel but it's fairly useless.

Groundbuster's robot mode is just his alt form standing up... so yea...

His weapon mode is somehow even worse, it's a claw...grabby... thing. In the storage it goes.

As flawed as he is, i find him endearing. My favorite thing about him is probably the beautiful blue. There's really not much to say bout him, if you like the character, you'll probably find him appropriate. If you're looking for something worth while, you could skip this, you won't be missing much.

Hasbro Transformers Age of Extinction Voyager Hound

So the Dinobots were pretty nice, though the AOEs vehicle transformers left me unimpressed. That was until wave 2 came along. Wave 2's voyagers were the man-made Galvatron which were pretty meh, and Hound. What can i say bout Hound? Well how bout HE FREAKING ROCKS!!

In G1, Hound was a peace-loving, tree-hugging all around good guy that turned into a jeep, but since this is Bay's transformers, all that goes out the window. Here, Hound is a war vet, militaristic and gruff Autobot carrying enough firepower to  take on the Decepticon army himself, and it shows in his altmode, a medium tactical vehicle. It's rugged, bulky and honestly, reminds me more of Bulkhead than Hound.

Transformed, Hound certainly looks mean. With BEARD AND ARMS MADE OF AMMO, wide shoulders, puffed up chest and stocky proportions, Hound looks like he 's been through it all.

While recent transformers offered little to no accessories, Hound here is loaded with them. Sporting a minigun, 2 shotguns, 2 handguns, 2 tinier handguns and a combat knife, what else can you ask for? Best part, HE CAN CARRY THEM ALL! Honestly i'm just having too much fun posing him with all the weaponry.

But that's not all, all those sweet weapons can combine into a huge decepticon blasting, seriously overkill weapon of mass destruction. Just look at it, it's almost as tall as Hound himself.

Articulation wise, he's pretty good with swivel head, shoulders, arms, wrist, hips, knees and toes. He's able to keep any action pose you want him to. Just be aware he's a bit top heavy so you might need to balance him alittle. Scale wise, he's undersized standing next to the older deluxe, but i don't mind that 1 bit. I almost forgot to mention, the plastic on the weapons are made thinner than Hound himself, so you might see stress marks if you force the weapons too hard. The shotguns are the worst offenders because once you push their handles in, it's tough to pull them out. So what i suggest is to only push in the handle half way.

He's pretty much the gem of wave 2. I love how solid everything clicks into place, leaving nothing hanging like alot of the recent transformers. He's 1 of those transformers that i would suggest to hunt out for.

EDIT: I finally did the knuckle mod. Just slide the pieces downwards, there might be some glue so becareful with that. To store them at the back without the pieces wiggling around, just angle them and they stay in pretty tight.
