Transformers Generations Voyager Autobot Brainstorm

Brainstorm is another one of those characters i haven't the faintest idea about. So when he was announced, i was kinda meh though the headmaster gimmick is kinda interesting. I didn't think i would go out my way just to hunt for him but i would probably buy him if i saw one. As luck would have it i did see one while i was out shopping and boy... i'm so glad i bought him!

Brainstorm is a headmaster in the G1 series, which meant his head transforms into a tiny humanoid (Nebulons) and in this case Arcana (though it's not mentioned on the box). He's supposed to be some kind of mad scientist like Wheeljack but without those pesky moral dilemmas. Anyway, Brainstorm's altmode is a some kind of space jet which is pretty cool. I really like the primary blue colour scheme, really eye catching.

Little Arcana is a tiny robotic humanoid that sports shields on both arms.

Robot mode is whoah! Just look at this beautiful blue bot! With broad chest, long legs and wide shoulders, it looks superb! Arcana also turns into a pretty handsome looking head. Be warned though, the peg hole for the head is a tad too tight and reports of breaking Arcana when detaching the head has surfaced. But with a small filer or a knife, just take a small amount of plastic from the hole and you're good to go.

He even have flippable tech specs in his cockpit! Nice little touch.

Articulations are great! Any action pose you can think of, he probably can do.

Also he's probably the least exposed transformer i have in awhile, no exposed hollowness.

His altmode guns can be detached and wielded like a pair of pistols, really really long pair of pistols.

He's one of the better made voyager in recent years. Solid alt mode, great robot mode, there's no glaring flaws or little QC problems to bog him down (except the overly tight head peg hole). Really recommend this guy, so glad i managed to find him for retail.
Anyway, thanks for viewing!
