Transformers Reveal the Shield Voyager Lugnut
Lugnut, like Lockdown, was originally from Transformers Animated. A totally new character that was dumb as rocks while being totally devoted to Megatron, he was somehow popular enough to have a voyager made in the Reveal the Shield line. By the way, Reveal the Shield was a subline back in 2010 that was both continuation of Hunt for the Decepticon line and Classics line which is now the Generations line. The gimmick of this line is the rubsigns the toys would have. Anyway back to Lugnut, HE'S AWESOME!

Transformers Generations Voyager Autobot Brainstorm
Brainstorm is another one of those characters i haven't the faintest idea about. So when he was announced, i was kinda meh though the headmaster gimmick is kinda interesting. I didn't think i would go out my way just to hunt for him but i would probably buy him if i saw one. As luck would have it i did see one while i was out shopping and boy... i'm so glad i bought him!

When she was announced, i was kinda surprised Hasbro took this long to release a G1 Arcee. But hey, why look gift horse in the mouth? I'm just glad i finally found one without paying scalper prices. So how does Arcee stacks up to the recent femmebots Hasbro released? Very very well actually.

Transformers Generations Deluxe Rattrap
Rattrap was never among my favorite transformers from Beast Wars. He was annoying and his voice was grating to my ears. But since Hasbro released the new voyager Rhinox, it's only a matter of time before they revisit the Maximals. At first, I was kinda meh to the announcement of Rattrap but as time passed, more and more glowing reviews started pouring in and my interested was piqued. So is he as good as they say? Yes, yes he is.
Right off the bat, Rattrap looks disgustingly realistic. Seriously, those hands and legs creep me out. Articulation wise he's has basic swivel arms and hands, minor thighs and foot swivels, opening jaw and bendable tail. The surprise here is that Rattrap is able to look down, with a flap behind the head that covers the neck when he does.
He's able to stand up like what he did in the show, though his under belly aren't covered.
He is a tad oversized, more so than the show standing next to the previous release.
Honestly, the robot mode is as accurate as you can ask for. I have no complaints bout the sculpt 'cept the rat ears might be tad too large in bot mode. I'm kinda iffed bout the rubber joint they used for shoulders as well, it's a soft rubber and although not as bad as the new Marvel Legends, it's pretty weird.
His back is basically his entire alt mode on, but i have no idea how else they could have did it. I wish they made they back to have a peg though, it's not as secure as i want it to be.
Check out the head! It's superbly done and i LOVE the transparent dome!
Articulation is basic here, though the arms not able to bend more than 60-ish? degrees. His legs are already much much better than Dinobot's legs are and i'm so glad for that, it's my only complaint bout the generations Dinobot. He comes with a transparent gun he sports in the show which...
...is able to separate to 2 pistols!
And check this out, hiis left forearm, opens up to reveal another accessory, the hotbox! It's a bomb he carries around in the show and i love Hasbro for including minor details like this. Just shows how much love and effort was poured into the new Generations line.
Though i might not be a fan of Rattrap, i'll still admit what's a good toy when i see one, and Rattrap here is great. With an amazingly accurate sculpt, he's a must have for Beast Wars fan. And if you aren't a fan of the show, you can just buy him to scare people with his creepy rat mode.

Transformers Generations Legends Class Groundbuster and Autobot Tailgate
After the fantastic Cosmos and the cool Skrapnel, how does this little fan favourite Autobot stack up? ...Meh. Tailgate here is based on his IDW comic appearance, unfortunately though, I don't really read much of the IDW comics. From what i can gather, Tailgate was an older generation waste disposal cybertronian worker that was stranded. Hot Rod's crew finally found him and he decided to lie about pretty much who he was. He bonded with Cyclonus which was pretty cute and pathetic at same time.
Anyway, Tailgate turns into a muscle car which looks pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of Kitt from Knightrider.
His little pal is Groundbuster which turns into a bomb disposal loader, which looks servicable i guess. Not much to say bout him.
Robot wise, Tailgate is kinda disappointing. There's no critical flaw with it, but it's the little things that bring him down. His car roof turns into his entire back and looks bad, it would have been better if it folds up at the bottom. His elbows are difficult to maneuver because the elbow edges constantly rub against each other. His shoulders look awkward just floating there.
Articulation wise, he's pretty basic. He does have minimal head swivel but it's fairly useless.
Groundbuster's robot mode is just his alt form standing up... so yea...
His weapon mode is somehow even worse, it's a claw...grabby... thing. In the storage it goes.
As flawed as he is, i find him endearing. My favorite thing about him is probably the beautiful blue. There's really not much to say bout him, if you like the character, you'll probably find him appropriate. If you're looking for something worth while, you could skip this, you won't be missing much.

Transformers Generations Legends Class Reflector and Skrapnel
The Insecticon trio were pretty unique among the decepticon ranks by being the first few insect based transformers. The first and most famous team was made of Kickback (grasshopper), Bombshell (hercules beetle) and Shrapnel/Skrapnel (stag beetle). But like all team based toys, Hasbro rarely complete them in the same line or scale. And Skrapnel here is no different.
Based on his IDW look, Hasbro has release Skrapnel into the Thrilling 30 line as a legend class figure. He looks great in his alt mode, obviously drawing designs from the G1 toy. Too bad there's nor articulation in his alt mode though.
His little partner, Reflector is a tiny camera which is freaking awesome!!!
Skrapnel looks great in bot mode, with angular edges and a really nice head sculpt. Too bad bout his insect legs, they're pretty intrusive. I wish they could fold away more. With ball jointed shoulder, elbows, hips and knees and a swivel head, he has all the articulation he needs.
This is what i didn't like, all the insect legs are sticking out the back.
Reflector turns into a big gun that looks like Skrapnel's G1 weapon.
He's good, but i think i'm spoiled by Cosmos. He wins in ever department except colour. Love those purple parts.
Skrapnel can't really hold the camera mode Reflector as well as i hope. But nothing some blue tack couldn't fix.
Say cheese!
He's a pretty good figure, just flawed by the insect legs in bot mode. Otherwise, he's a pretty cool legends class toy, can't say the same bout his wavemate Tailgate...

Transformers Generations Legends Class Payload and Autobot Cosmos
Cosmos was one of those transformers that i have no idea who he is or what he does but i just gotta have because of how unique he looks. So what can i say about Cosmos? He's a squat fat Autobot that keeps a watch on Decepticons while hanging out in space and somehow he has the alt mode of a flying saucer. That's pretty much all i know bout him. Then there's Payload, 1 of the trio of mini-con that forms the most powerful weapon in the transformers universe, the Requiem Blaster. So Hasbro decided to make the duo under the new Generations legends, packing him with the ever annoying Swerve. How does Cosmos fare against the fantastic transformers Hasbro been making? He's FANTASTIC!
Just look at this cute little thing! How could you not love it??? It's amazing how well they managed to make the alt mode so sleek and compact. Although the shape is simple, Cosmos is littered with little details really brings out the sculpt. Payload turns into a tiny space shuttle that's also cute as well.
Both of their robot mode looks cool as well, especially Cosmos, with giant Hulk hands and giant boots. You wouldn't have guessed he turned into basically a saucer. The transformation is simple and fun, while Payload is just the space shuttle standing up.
Articulation wise, Cosmos has everything he need. With swivel shoulder, ball jointed arms, ball jointed hips, swivel feet and swivel head, he can achieve plenty of action poses. While Payload can swivel his arm up and down.
Knee guns!
Payload turns into a cool gun that actually good without looking out of place unlike the other recent minicons(Waspinator).
He scales with the commander class and legends, standing as tall as commander Prime Shockwave.
I just love him! Pure fun to fiddle around with, i highly recommend him. With his cool look and great articulations, there's clearly lots of effort put in designing him. If you have a chance to purchase 1, GET HIM!!!
